RHIME Founded in Los Angeles in 2020, RHIME is an underground label built to argue with the rest of the footwear scene. The slogan is "Walk The Beat.", a design philosophy that comes out of music, culture and an obsession with what is next. The name itself is a nod to "Check the Rhime" by A Tribe Called Quest, which tells you how seriously the reference is taken. At the DACULT online store you will find the models that define it: the AstroPod, whose +5cm platform delivers volume without the weight you would expect, and the Alien Proto 1 Foam Runner, with an organic, almost living shape and serious breathability. A wide toe box, an outsole cut with concentric grooves. Details that sound niche until you actually walk in them, and that is the whole point of RHIME. The feel underfoot, the silhouette and the story behind the shoe all run on one thread, and that mix of underground culture and forward-looking design is not something you will find elsewhere.
