■ Design & Concept

17th-century Baroque excess crossed with the dystopia of modern street: FRKM SCD at its most itself. A heavy Baroque pattern surfaces right across the body, and while the cut is a properly elegant double-breasted, the brand's own texture treatment makes the jacket look like an archive piece dug up several centuries late.

■ Material & Texture

• Jacquard Weave with Distressed Finish: The pattern is woven in, then put through a specialist dye process. It lifts into relief depending on how the light hits it, holding deep shadow and a dry hand at the same time.

• Artisanal Hardware: Aged metal buttons on the front, chosen so nothing breaks the classic feel of the jacket. The detail work runs all the way down.

■ Silhouette & Details

• Structured Boxy Double-Breasted: Padded shoulders and a hard constructed line give a boxy shape. It is a traditional double-breasted with extra room through the chest, so a hoodie or a heavy knit goes underneath without a fight.

• Refined Peak Lapel: A sharply pointed peak lapel puts a strong line up near the face.

■ Styling Suggestion
