■ Design & Concept
Walking art is the phrase people use, and this is BBIMP being ambitious. The name is literal: the structure of a burger taken straight into a shoe. Bun, patty, lettuce and cheese are each built up as their own layer. The stacking is precise enough that it stops reading as a joke and starts reading as a sculpture for the foot.
■ Material & Texture
-
Premium Multi-Textured Synthetic: Different materials for different parts, so the bun reads soft and risen and the lettuce ripples the way it should.
-
High-Density Plush Filling: Filled generously enough to hit the volume the shape promises. Startlingly light, and soft the whole way around the foot.
-
Sesame Detail: Fine sesame detail worked into the surface of the bun — the brand goes that far down.
■ Silhouette & Details
-
Extreme Oversized Form: A silhouette that ends the idea of what a slipper is. It pulls every eye to the floor and takes the lead in any outfit.
-
Traction Outsole: A practical outsole, so it works indoors and equally as the deliberate wrong note in a street look.
■ Styling Suggestion
-
Hyper-Baggy Silhouette: BE A DEVIL - USD Billion Multi Rivet Denim Pants or any baggy pant with volume at the hem. The hem pools on top of the burger, and that puffy street proportion is the whole point.
-
Contrast Casual: OCAI - Smile Canvas, and if that is your kind of humour, go deliberately short with cropped work pants so nothing hides the burger. The shoes alone carry the conversation.
-
Homewear Luxury: BE A DEVIL - Mask Oversized Hoodie over something relaxed. The weight of a dark top against pop volume at the feet — one-mile luxury taken to the end.
