■ Design & Concept
GOJOYJINNI works on destruction and rebirth, and this pair is the clearest example. The whole leg is distressed until it looks worn for years, then coated over the top in wax paint. Oil marks and paint splatter off an industrial floor, reassembled with a designer's eye — decayed, but the color is placed carefully enough to read modern.
■ Material & Texture
-
Layered Wax & Paint Finish: Deep white denim as the base, layered with a matte wax coating and gray paint thrown across it. The hand changes wherever you touch it.
-
Heavy-Duty Distressed Denim: Knees and hems are crashed by hand, in detail. Hard wax against soft torn cloth is where the vintage-archive weight comes from.
-
Oxidized Hardware: Front buttons and rivets are oxidised and aged so the hardware sits into the surface rather than on top of it.
■ Silhouette & Details
-
Relaxed Straight Silhouette: The silhouette is deliberately ordinary — a relaxed straight — so the finishing carries the pair. Let the hem stack and it turns rougher and more street.
-
Signature Art Stitching: Reinforcement stitching on the back pockets and belt loops. Under all that treatment the construction is real.
■ Styling Suggestion
Up top, TH4SWE - Double Collar Cross Webbing Tee puts two different black textures on one body, for an industrial monotone look. Or go glossy on the outside with something like GROUPMAREK - Black Paneled Sport Jacket — satin shine against matte wax, which is where the high-end rave-grunge look comes from.
