Lumberjack Jeans

■ Design & Concept

RYE CHASIN rebuilding workwear with force. Practical details like the double knee and the hammer loop get pulled into fashion through extreme proportion and heavy treatment. Solid enough to take a falling tree, cut in the baggy silhouette running the street right now. Blunt, with an urban coldness underneath it: the dirt and the shape are both calculated.

■ Material & Texture

• Industrial Heavy Duck & Denim: Abrasion-resistant heavy duck, or thick rigid denim, with a distinct stiffness. That stiffness at the start is what creates the silhouette.

• Sun-Baked Earth Stain: Aging that recreates sun-bleaching and earth staining from real outdoor work. It goes past dirt for dirt's sake into something with genuinely good gradation.

• Triple-Stitched Seams: Triple stitching on the main seams, straight out of workwear. The lines give the wide leg its visual rhythm.

■ Silhouette & Details

• Hyper-Wide Work Silhouette: A deep rise with the leg opening pushed to the limit. The weight of the fabric drapes and lands heavy over your feet.

• Oversized Double Knee Panels: Large reinforcement panels covering the leg from the knee down, held by rows of rivets that work as industrial decoration.

• Authentic Utility Loops: Hammer loop and tool pocket on the side. Hang a silver chain or studded hardware off them and the whole thing turns punk.

■ Styling Suggestion

Up top, take the leopard-panel punk studded hoodie and crash workwear dirt into punk glitter for new grunge. Or throw on the reversible hooded bomber with mud-dyed platform work boots underneath, stacking the textures into dystopian work mode.
