Waxed Napoleon Palace Denim Jacket

■ Design & Concept

The ceremonial decoration of a 19th-century Napoleon jacket, rebuilt for the street on REBEL WAVE's own terms. The defining part is the row of metal buttons down the front and the fine braid running between them. The court-dress reference is still there, but wax treatment across the whole body gives it the blunt look of equipment that has been used, and that collision of classic and avant-garde is what makes it hold.

■ Material & Texture

• Deep Waxed Heavy Denim: Jet black denim under repeated heavy wax coating. The sheen is dull, closer to leather, and the chalk marks that come up as you wear it record where the jacket has been.

• Oxidized Metal Hardware: The decorative buttons are antiqued to look oxidized on purpose. Against the wax, the whole thing reads like an archive piece left alone for decades.

■ Silhouette & Details

• Structured Cropped Silhouette: Built up at the shoulder and cut short in the body. The length difference against whatever you layer underneath is part of the point, and it sharpens the whole line.

• Palace Braid Decoration: The front decoration is fixed in place, so the balance stays right however you wear it. The military stand collar keeps a certain tension at the neck.

■ Styling Suggestion

• Gothic Industrial Armor: With the "FRKM SCD - Bullet Flare Leather Pants". The jacket's braid and the bullet pockets answer each other, and the density of it reads like armor built for the city.

• Regal Denim Clash: With "FRKM SCD - Aviator Buckle Waxed Denim" below. Same wax language top and bottom, plus the buckle detail, and it turns into neo-classic aviator.

• Decayed Elegance: With the "TH4SWE - Distressed Dark Cross Tank Top" underneath. Letting the distressing show under an aristocratic outer shell is the whole aesthetic in one outfit.
