Bootleg Camo Cargo Pants

■ Design & Concept

RYE CHASIN proposes a new military standard. True to the Bootleg name, it doesn't take traditional camouflage and use it as it is: complex panel seams and part placement build a deliberate wrongness into it, lifting the print into an entirely new graphic. The fluid panel structure running from knee to hem makes the pair look like it is moving even standing still - which is the design in one sentence.

■ Material & Texture

• Durable Ripstop Camo: A tear-resistant, high-density heavy cotton. The camo tones are deliberately dialled down, so the pair reads stealth against a city backdrop.

• Textured Fabric Contrast: The grain direction of the cloth is switched panel by panel, so the camo shifts depending on how the light hits it, giving the surface several layers at once.

• Industrial Webbing Straps: Around the cargo pockets, hardware is set into the seams, taking tactical function and using it as a design accent.

■ Silhouette & Details

• Hyper-Wide 3D Silhouette: Deep tucks at the knee make a 3D wide silhouette that swells outward. The form changes as the leg bends, and it holds the street.

• Multi-Pockets Utility: Beyond the huge cargo pockets on both legs, there are hidden pockets and tool loops throughout. Military function, tuned for how people actually live now.

• Adjustable Hem Drawcord: A drawcord runs through the hem. Cinch it for a balloon shape, release it for wide straight - adjust to whatever is on your feet.

■ Styling Suggestion

For the top, go with a jet-black oversized hoodie to set off how complex the camo is -urban military is the result. Or take a tight skin-fit top underneath,a studded waxed jacket over it, where punk and tech meet - neo-tactical, also worth doing.
