■ Design & Concept
RYE CHASIN at its best faux-layer trick. A boxer brief waistband, brand logo and all, is docked onto the waist of the jean. It recreates the look of pants worn low, perfectly balanced, with no belt involved. Tough denim with the sporty lightness of underwear sitting on top of it: the silhouette that defines the street right now.
■ Material & Texture
-
Authentic Rigid Black Denim: Black denim with a spine to it that takes your shape as you wear it in. The depth of the black is what makes the white waistband land.
-
Elastic Logo Waistband: Soft, stretchy rib at the top of the waist, the kind used on actual underwear. Comfortable against the skin and part of the design.
-
Vintage-Finished Hardware: Front button and rivets aged to look used, which lifts the archive feel of the whole pair.
■ Silhouette & Details
-
Wide-Leg Baggy Fit: A deep rise with the thigh and hem set wide. The layered waistband makes the waist read lower than it is, dropping the center of gravity into proper street territory.
-
Built-in Layering System: Denim and underwear are one piece, so the layering never slips out of place however you move.
-
Contrast Brand Logo: RYE CHASIN typography across the waistband is the eye-catch, and the identity.
■ Styling Suggestion
Up top, go deliberately short with a cropped sweatshirt so the boxer waistband is fully on show: high-end street. Or pull on a wide oversized hoodie and let just the logo peek out below the hem, which reads quieter: urban mode.
