■ Design & Concept
Nostalgic, faintly poisonous street graffiti from RYE CHASIN.
Chicks Hotline typography set against retro, deliberately kitsch icons. It takes a straight racing look and knocks it off balance, which is exactly what the street wants right now.
■ Fabric & Quality
-
Ultra-Heavyweight Cotton: The heavy, tough cotton only RYE CHASIN bothers with. The hood stands up properly and the body holds a clean boxy line.
-
Soft Brushed Lining: A warm brushed interior, enough to carry the piece on its own once it turns cold.
-
Vintage Faded Wash: A fine wash across the whole garment knocks the graphic back and leaves the broken-in feel of something owned for years.
■ Silhouette & Details
-
Modern Relaxed Fit: Generous through the body with the length dialled in. Relaxed, but current.
-
Graphic Print: The Hotline graphic on the front mixes thick rubber print with cracked print, so the surface has real texture and depth.
-
Double Layered Hood: A heavy two-layer hood that gives the back of the piece as much presence as the front.
■ Styling Suggestion
The advanced move is to put something aggressive underneath, like the Yellow Camo Racing Bootleg Pants, and play it against the pop graphic. Or keep it simple with wide baggy denim for a 90s skate-grunge read.
